It's truely amazing how the minds of some managers work. For instance, if there are two systems, System Y running quietly in the corner never needing any attention at all, and System Z in the other corner with an admin in front of it every other day cursing and muttering while on hold with the service contract support people, Management seems only able to see "Gee! It's really great that we can get support for Z! I'd hate to be running without any support like with System Y over there. Can we get another Z system to replace the Y one so we have support for both of them?"


Below is a collection of links to rants about various net related companies, and poor service from them. The only level of personal support that can be assumed from the presence of a link here is that I've read the text, and my own suspicions are that there's probably at least some truth behind it.
