Standard Rates and ServicesHDS offers both automatically-renewing subscription services and expiring contract services. Subscription services are offered for short billing cycles, and renew automatically at the end of the cycle. Payment must be arranged to be handled via electronic means, such as PayPal. Checks and paper invoicing are not accepted for subscription services. Billing happens at the beginning of the subscription cycle. If, for any reason, a subscription billing request is declined by a payment provider, the account-holder is notified and a second billing attempt will be made in seven (7) days. If the second billing fails, the subscription service will be immediately closed. HDS assumes NO responsibility for the subsquent availability of files, undelivered email, etc., for accounts closed in this manner. Contract services may be paid for at any time, and additional payments made to an existing account extend the expiration dates by the amount of time that the contract calls for. Under most circumstances, early cancellation of the contract by the customer will result in the closing of the account at the date specified by user, and a forfeiting of the payment for the remainder of the term of the contact period. Contract periods that are pre-paid but have not yet started are eligible for a full refund. For example, if a user purchases two years of shell account services, and decides to cancel service after ten months, the remainder of the first year's contract is forfeited, but the second year's contract would be fully refunded at the rate paid, and by the same means. Accounts paid for by PayPal have refunds issued via PayPal, accounts paid for by check have checks issued in return, etc.
